Backyard retreat
By merging formal structure with exuberant plantings, the space is divided into several areas, including a rustic bluestone patio totally surrounded by plants in a white palette, a potager area separated by a grass border, and a more casual sitting area at the back. Straight lines allow to create vistas and strong focal points, and are softened by abundant, relaxed plantings. The result is a plant-driven timeless garden that suits the Oak Bay character home.
